These Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy govern your use of the hellochocolat.com website and your relationship with Hello Chocolat Ltd. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions and/or our Privacy Policy, please do not register for or use the hellochocolat.com site.
Price and Shipping Charges
The price of the goods will be as quoted on the website at the time you confirm your order (usually by clicking the “Checkout” button).
If you subsequently amend your order, the prices charged will be those applicable to the amended item(s) at the time that the amended order is confirmed.
Where items are ordered and sold individually by weight, we have an indicative weight guide on the website, the price you will be charged is the price for the actual weight you receive.
The prices stated on the website will be inclusive of any VAT payable.
The price of the goods does not include a charge for delivery.
These charges are in addition and as follows;
Once your order has been processed and packed, we aim for a 3-5 working days delivery period.
For standard delivery to UK Mainland only the delivery charge is calculated by the value of the order.
A delivery charge of £5.00 for an order value of up to £50; £7.50 for an order value of up to £75 and £10.00 for an order value of up to £100.
The delivery charge is calculated automatically and shown on the website when you place your order.
Orders
All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it (please refer to our “Delivery, Returns and Refunds” policy).
Hello Chocolat Ltd shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery.
In the unlikely event that an order is lost, damaged, delayed or faulty we won’t be able to cover for any damages or losses beyond that of replacing the goods. Please let us know of any problem, as soon as you become concerned and within 24 hours of delivery for damage or faulty goods.
If you leave instructions for the courier about where to leave a parcel if you are not at home without signing for it you immediately waive your right to compensation if the item is damaged or stolen as it isn’t possible to guarantee its integrity after delivery.
Payment
We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
Payment may be made by debit or credit card, or through your own PayPay Account. You cannot pay for an online order by cash or cheque. The debit or credit cards accepted by us are those listed on the website on the date on which your order is placed.
Authority for payment will be requested from your card issuer at the time of your order. We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you if we are refused authority for payment at any stage.
By placing an order, you agree to indemnify us in full against all costs, expenses and outgoings incurred by us in the process of obtaining payment.
In the event of a failed or withheld payment, this will include an administration fee of not less that £20.
The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Title to any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
All prices are shown in £ sterling at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated.
Out of stocks
If in the unfortunate event an item is out of stock once you have placed your order, we will contact you to arrange a refund.
Delivery, Returns and Refunds Policy
Hello Chocolat Ltd are committed to making high-quality produce that we’re sure you will enjoy. Please make sure that you check your items carefully (including the product description and any nutritional information) before they are purchased. We also recommend that you keep your receipt or order number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging, as you need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
Once the order is placed you will no longer be able to amend the order.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you register on the website. We will not verify the address and will accept no liability if you do not receive your order as a result of you providing incorrect delivery details.
Products are subject to availability. The website is updated on a daily basis but in the event of non-availability of any goods you order, we may offer a reasonable substitute.
We will always try to supply you with the full quantity that you have ordered and each order is checked & verified before despatch.
If any products delivered are damaged or defective / not what you ordered / not the quantity that you ordered, we will arrange for the products to be returned to us. Refunds and replacements are offered entirely at our discretion & we reserve the right to issue them in whichever way we deem appropriate. No responsibility can be taken for heat damage – while we take the utmost care in packaging, the customer takes full responsibility for the risk of heat damage when requesting us to ship to addresses; when there is a likelihood of warm weather (over 20°C).
You must ensure someone will be available to receive the delivery on the scheduled delivery day in order to avoid delays, additional handling or deliveries being left in a warm place.
In the unlikely event that there is something wrong with your delivery, You must notify us of any problems with your order within 3 days of receipt. Please contact admin@hellochocolat.com
As taste is subjective, we cannot accept the return of any non-faulty product simply because you do not enjoy the taste, we want to always operate at the highest level of customer service.
Please note adverse weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control may result in the occasional late or cancelled delivery. If that is the case we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able in order to reschedule your delivery time and date. In any event our liability to you will be limited to the price of goods not delivered and the cost of delivery.
Should your order arrive damaged in any sort of way, we will happily send out another for you free of charge, or refund you if you would prefer.
Simply send us a picture of your damaged item, along with your complaint to admin@ hellochocolat.com.
As this is a food product your right to return or cancel the product does not apply to any items which have been opened or unsealed. This doesn’t affect your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
Please note, we will not issue replacements or refunds if you have already started eating the chocolates.
Product Information
Product information, dietary flags, photographs, and pack sizes are all for illustrative purposes and general advice. Though we believe them to be correct they cannot be guaranteed. From time to time recipes, packaging, dietary classifications and ingredients vary and change and we may not always be as up to date as we would like them to be, so please always check the details on the packaging before using. It is especially important to check suitability for special diets and if there is a possibility of an allergic reaction.
Products sold through our internet shop are sold according to the description on the website.
Please contact your doctor directly if you have any doubts concerning the nature of product ingredients or if you suspect that you may be allergic to the ingredients.
We are scrupulous in our handling and food hygiene to ensure as best as practical there is no cross contamination. Our products are made in an environment where known allergens are used (including but not limited to peanuts, nuts, gluten, milk, sulphites, soya and eggs).
Although the website is checked regular, ingredients and products are subject to change without notice.

We may from time to time at our discretion send you relevant Marketing literature or relevant product samples.
The Consumer Contract Regulations 2013
The Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 are designed to protect customers who are not physically present with the seller at the time of purchase. If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item (excluding those ordered in-store). This does not apply to, items that due to their nature cannot be returned; perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers and periodicals/magazines), items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed;
As such under the regulation once an order has been dispatched cancellation or refund policy doesn’t apply as we only supply perishable goods.
